Has such a monumental change in personnel ever resulted in instant success? And by that, i mean not just players but a club from top to bottom. Owners, chairman, ceo, players, academy staff, coaches?? All in 6 months. I for one could see this kind of situation coming. It will take time. I think the players coming in have been told promotion is the target and it's the chalice around our neck. Cook, or no Cook, it's a tough one for anyone. Improvement needed but not sure it's going to be very soon. STF.

I just look at Bolton when they had to rebuild completely.
It took them a few months to build back up but are all the better for it now.

Poll: W or W

Christ alive.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I can remember back in the late 80's, when Man utd spent ridiculous money one summer, and in the first match of the season beat champions Arsenal 4-1. I think they won the fa cup that season.
They bought Bruce, Pallister, Neil Webb, Mike Phelan, Mark Hughes, Jim Leighton, Irwin and Danny Wallace I think, and others I'm sure.
