Kinda. A few silly mistakes leading to their first half goal. Had that not happened, we’d have won the game comfortably. We didn’t get tight enough, allowed a ball over the top and didn’t defend the ball in the box properly.
In truth, it’s the poorest we’ve been down both flanks this season. Coulson was a poor selection today, no doubt about it. Edwards was woeful first half too.
I wouldn’t say our underbelly was soft as Plymouth didn’t create much despite what the stats show. We had by far the better chances and controlled the tempo for large periods in the second half. I’d chalk today off as one of those games which could have gone either way. Too many players not on it. Need a win Tuesday now to maintain that momentum though. |  |

It wasn't the "lets do nothing for 15 mins and see if the opposition can score" soft underbelly.
It was down to some genuine poor displays from individual players, poor distribution, lack of desire to win the game, and not enough players up for it. I think to win games like today, you need 4 or 5 players in the team to be on it, and they will carry / inspire the rest.
We are definitely not far off, but the difference between a complete team with no weak links and one that is 'not far off', is promotion
