Just the one goal then on 22:25 - Nov 9 with 553 views | wkj | I think it comes down to motivation - we play much better against teams who try to have a go.

A combination of us playing a weaker team and them defending doggedly. Noublé (as he apparently prefers to be known despite Brenner's persistence with Nouble) did a lot of defending tonight.

I think we play better away from home when sides often take the game to us . At home i would like to see someone maybe Chaplin play closer to Piggot / Bonne whoever is playing centre forward , Tonight i though we looked likely to score first half but not second ., thought we needed to mix it up with the odd long ball to Piggot and then hopefully pick up the second ball . We were so predictable . Just my thought of course .

Colchester played the counter-attacking game well, very well - a lot has to be said about 10 being behind the ball for most of it. Given how Pigott seems to like to chase the ball, we might have been better playing a little bit of Mick Ball tonight. I agree with most of your points though.
