Does anyone under 60 watch the Queen's speech? 18:37 - Dec 25 with 6947 views | noggin | It really shouldn't but just hearing her elitist voice annoys me. Poor old love had to spend Christmas at Windsor Castle. [Post edited 25 Dec 2021 18:45]

Does anyone under 60 watch the Queen's speech? on 12:51 - Dec 26 by noggin | Isn't it funny how so many people are annoyed about me being annoyed. |
I watched it for the first time in years yesterday. It was really dry, just some old lady giving out for 10 minutes. If she wants people to watch next year I would suggest she adds in a car chase or an explosion or 2
Does anyone under 60 watch the Queen's speech? on 13:49 - Dec 26 with 711 views | TVRBlue | Noggin, you have asked all on TWTD a question. "Does anyone under 60 watch the Queen's speech?" Your post continued stating "just hearing her elitist voice annoys me" followed by calling her a "poor old love". Your original question and statements make no reference to a dislike of Britain's form of Governance with a monarchy at the head, but does imply a dislike of the Queen. There is no problem with your question of course. However, your following comments about a 95 year old lady who, having been born in to an existing system, has unwaveringly dedicated her life to this Country, and has served this Country without question as our Queen for 68 years is, in my opinion, disrespectful to her. Would I want to be in her position or have lived her life? As Ryorry has alluded to above, not in a million years. Whilst I don't agree with your opinion of the Queen I respect it, and I hope you'll respect mine. [Post edited 26 Dec 2021 13:55]

Of course I respect your opinion good Sir. Why should I let it upset me?

Does anyone under 60 watch the Queen's speech? on 08:43 - Dec 26 by Cheltenham_Blue | Flimsy arguments all over the place here. "just hearing her elitist voice annoys me" "I have nothing against her as a person" One too many Christmas Day glasses of Buck Fizz I think. |
To be fair, with views on the monarchy, like everything else, there comes a time for making our minds up.
