We've obviously done well since the change, although still early days, of course, but I'd still have expected PC to get things right eventually. Having said that, I think KM is a better fit into the structure around him at the club and I'm not sure cracks wouldn't have appeared the longer things had gone on given PC's comments after his departure. |
KM, from what we've seen so far anyway, seems to be an inspired choice. Kudos to whoever recommended him or sought him out. Much better than the usual merry-go-round merchants that were being touted at the time of PC's dismissal.

There really wasn't much evidence that PC would get things right eventually though.
I get that he achieved decent things with other clubs, and appears a good manager - he was my choice for the job - but his record here was absolutely dismal and his decision making very odd the more I look at things and go through each individual game he was in charge of.
Defensively we were a mess in his whole tenure - McKenna has sorted that out in less than a month. |  |
