We've obviously done well since the change, although still early days, of course, but I'd still have expected PC to get things right eventually. Having said that, I think KM is a better fit into the structure around him at the club and I'm not sure cracks wouldn't have appeared the longer things had gone on given PC's comments after his departure.


KM, from what we've seen so far anyway, seems to be an inspired choice. Kudos to whoever recommended him or sought him out. Much better than the usual merry-go-round merchants that were being touted at the time of PC's dismissal.

There really wasn't much evidence that PC would get things right eventually though.

I get that he achieved decent things with other clubs, and appears a good manager - he was my choice for the job - but his record here was absolutely dismal and his decision making very odd the more I look at things and go through each individual game he was in charge of.

Defensively we were a mess in his whole tenure - McKenna has sorted that out in less than a month.
