Great to see. However, I still can't get my head around the fact that Brentford can attract a player like that. I know he has limited options and there is risk attached, but still. In my mind Brentford are a lower league club playing at a ramshackle hole of a ground.

It's all about getting to the Premier League & then staying there. Currently almost half the PL clubs are no bigger than Town. However, half the clubs in the 2nd tier are as big as Town & we still have to contend with Sunderland, Wednesday, Portsmouth & Charlton in this league. Even if we do get promoted, I will be intrigued how much Gamechanger will be prepared to lose each season in an attempt to get into the Premier League. | |
