Definitely scored 11 goals till his recall would definitely be a better choice and an unknown quality see him play for Swindon as well battles well upfront holds the ball up isn’t that what we need imo.

It's a tricky decision for McKenna to make. On one hand he's got no strikers in any sort of form apart from Jackson (sort of) and may want to seek alternatives (plus he's in need of goals now and can't afford to wait for a solution to blossom) plus lower level League One clubs aren't too dissimilar to ones Simpson's been playing against in League Two. On the other it's a lot of pressure on a young striker with one good half season in the division below behind him so may not bear fruit plus may not go down well with the other forwards to see him get in ahead of them. Although the latter point could give them motivation.

I wouldn't mind it as there's something of a rough and ready Daryl Murphy about him based on limited viewing but would be a big call to leave one of the senior forwards out of the 18 to accommodate him. The club may want his contract situation dealt with first anyway.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

I think his head could be turned if he was to come on at PR in front of 20k and do relatively well.

My thoughts entirely Gav. The little I have seen of him, he looked to close down defenders, offered physicality and that could be useful in the final 20 minutes. Some contribution and a goal or two and he might see his future differently.
