If you have half a jar of black bean sauce, stored in fridge with lid on since first opened. Smells ok, but reckon it's at least 6 months since it was opened.

Added to chicken and veg and would be properly cooked/heated before eating.

Would you go there?

Posted it after a similar discussion with my better half yesterday, was interested in people's take. I cooked it yesterday during the day with no ill effects. Also had some reheated jollof rice today as it goes. Both very nice too :-)
