It's because everything is in front of them. Unless you're Man City you're rarely going to break teams down when they play like and are good at it.
We need to cross better, both from open play and corners and free kicks, and attack the ball better.
And also learn to score from distance, Burns hit a good shot from 25 yards but ultimately missed, Celina hit a disgusting effort from the same area - he was really quiet yesterday. Got it in one. Even with Burns he gets to go wide and be a proper wing back but his crossing has a lot to be desired. Just think what a player he would be if he nailed it every time. |  |
