Can you blame him? Was playing on his own in the middle of the park for 90 mins! Carroll was nothing more than a passenger and always has been when he’s played. Should never be seen in a town shirt again

Poll: How do we all see it after today?

Yes, you couldnt miss it. He was totally pi**ed off with the midfield. I wouldn't want to be on the end of his rant when they got back in the changing room. Lets hope it's worked for the Shrewsbury game.

We are lucky to have him.

Although a good captain does need more than one style of leadership, sl4gging players off throughout a game will work with some but not others.

I get the high regard for Morsy, but he still frustrates me when, by sheer force of personality and much hand-waving he demands the ball, but then goes to prove, just like the original passer thought, when Morsy himself has to give it straight back, that there was nothing really on in the first place.

Waving hands about to demand that I'm in a better position than you ought to result in a higher percentage of ensuing incisive passing when he gets that ball than is actually his case. I get it's called retention, but it's often turns out to be just a way to eat into our own time.
