Anybody know why .... on 21:20 - Apr 13 by Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | You really still doing this? March will be available soon but in February there were less deaths than the 5 year average, predating Covid. In February 2022, there were 43,081 deaths registered in England, 3,338 deaths (7.2%) fewer than the February five-year average (2016 to 2019, and 2021); there were 2,730 deaths registered in Wales, 267 deaths (8.9%) fewer than the February average. Interesting that you managed to ignore the fact that the same stats also quote covid as the third biggest cause of death in the same stats. I wouldn't stop taking the domestos jabs, horse de-wormer or torches up the bum if I was you, Trumpy. https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/birthsdeathsandmarriages/dea [Post edited 13 Apr 2022 22:58]

Anybody know why .... on 20:52 - Apr 13 by Churchman | I have found the following, which at first sight looks interesting. https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiYmUwNmFhMjYtNGZhYS00NDk2LWFlMTAtOTg0OGNhN For perspective, the number of people that die in the U.K. each year was 50k in 1990 and 59k in 2020. Obviously the population has risen from 57m to 70m in that time, but the most interesting stat is the mortality rate that in crude terms 916.1 per 100k in 2018 and 1016.2 per 100k in 2020. I assume the difference is Covid but I don’t actually know. |
I rather suspect that a lot of people who'd have made up those stats normally were sadly, a part of the last two years' worth of excess death stats instead.

Certainly not as interesting as you ignoring that deaths are down below pre covid levels this year. People testing positive with 28 days of the registered death is going to happen rather regularly when 1 in 12 people have the thing. Why do you hate good news so much? I was responding to a post saying it's the equivalent of a jet crashing each day. Well if that was the case I think the average deaths might be up above 2016-2019. By the way the constant insults because you don't like me presenting real data are a bit pathetic but not as worrying as your obsession with the former president. Get a grip mate, or better just hit ignore, you'll feel better for it I am sure.
