Where does Bonne's career go from here? 09:49 - Apr 24 with 4739 views | bluesym | Real shame that the move hasn't worked out for him, certainly looked like he could be the answer in the first quarter of the season. I'm assuming he's on a decent wack at QPR but doesn't really look anywhere near championship standard and with a year left on his deal there, I'm guessing maybe another loan move to a league one club next season?

Where does Bonne's career go from here? on 16:38 - Apr 25 by Bluebell | If he is in League 1, surely that will be a rival? Or am I being stupid? I will be sorry to see him go. I feel he has been good for the team. Just a shame he has not had the chances he had at the start of the season. |
Not all league one clubs are going to be promotion rivals. You're right though, looking through the teams only about 8 are going to be able to take him and they are naturally the bigger clubs and likely to be rivals.

Where does Bonne's career go from here? on 10:23 - Apr 24 by mr_bean | I think a big issue is that he's constantly offside. You would have thought that they'd be working with him on the training ground to eradicate that annoying aspect of his game. Is it a failure of the coaching, or is the offside tendency too engrained within Bonne himself? |
Agree that he is offside a lot but I also feel he is often looking for the ball to be played earlier & his runs aren't being picked up. We do tend to over play in the middle of the pitch at times.
Where does Bonne's career go from here? on 13:10 - Apr 26 with 513 views | BonneNIL | He was superb at the start, if we were signing that player there would be no argument as he's stood head and shoulders above Norwood, Jackson, and Piggott in that sense as those three have had no purple patch at all. However since McKenna came in, the system has changed, he's worked hard but he looks like a beaten man probably well aware that his dream of leading us to the Championship and even playing for us in a decent league has flashed before his eyes and he'll be on his way back down the ladder again after a good few years in the Championship and top end of League One. If the price was right we should take a look. He could even end up at one of the relegated sides. Knowing the "Ipswich Way" he will sign for a league rival and be promoted next season with them while we will finish 8th having signed the formerly best striker in the league who will have 4 goals to his name all season.

Where does Bonne's career go from here? on 13:19 - Apr 26 with 489 views | skinnybob72 | I think he's suffering from a loss of confidence over the last few months - there's still a player there and he's worth signing permanently if the price is right. None of the strikers have gone on any kind of run since KM came in - it's not just Bonne. At the end of the day we've just not created enough chances to allow any of the strikers to score a lot of goals. Hopefully a full pre season under KM, a couple of additions to the squad and a tweak to the system and we'll be far more potent in the final third.
