Next one of our squad to play in the Premier League? 15:16 - May 7 with 3361 viewswrightsrightglove

Who do we think will be the first member of our current squad to make a premier league appearance (other than the first player out of the tunnel in a few years time when we’re back where we belong obvs)?

Wolfie for me, I think he’s going to continue to flourish under McKenna and I can see an offer from a lower end PL team within the next couple of years and I think he’ll want the opportunity. Any other thoughts?

Who is our most recent player to since play in the Premier League? Would it be Will Norris?

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!

Yeah, it is, but he was a loanee from Wolves. The last player we actually owned is David McGoldrick I think (good chance the next one is Liam Gibbs, imminently).

With that chance gone...take this in...the next one is quite possibly Kieffer Moore.

Exactly. There’s a bit of a myth surrounding Premier League players as if they are Demi-gods. Yes there are some outstanding, even world class players in there, but also some fairly ordinary players that have lucked out. Maguire and Dier seem good examples. I’d rather have Donacien and Woolf over those two.

Yep. McG's Premier League debut at 31 (and Moore's possible imminent Premier League debut at 30) shows the whole "at 27 no chance" attitude to be daft. You just never know.
