MK Dons shameful crowd, but they play good stuff in a style similar to ours 18:53 - May 8 with 3901 viewsunstableblue

First off a shameful 13,000, my work colleague was able to buy a ticket on Friday afternoon!

But they do play good football. And are similar to us in many ways. Interesting they play Twine who’s more akin to Celina/Chaplin as the central single striker (although he come deep a lot) and then parrot and another to the side who are more physical

They get treatment but game continues around them. They’d soon get up…

Indeed, put them on a stretcher & mandatory minimum of one minute off the pitch while they are assessed and the game continues. "No treatment on the pitch" was trialled during the 1974 World Cup in a rare show of sense from FIFA, but sadly the idea wasn't continued.

I don't think anyone can deny MK Dons have a far better stadium that Wycombe.

In terms of which ground I'd rather visit, has the best character or makes for the best away day, that's different.

Well no, if two-thirds empty, soulless identikit bowls are your thing, then you can’t deny MK Dons have a far better stadium than Wycombe

Highlighting crass stupidity since sometime around 2010

The whole going to Milton Keynes part.

The geography of this league is awful for us. Only 1 London game & the "highlights" are now Peterborough, Cambridge & Milton Keynes. Plus Northampton if they make it through the play offs - shame Bristol turned over the goal difference.

Yep, I'm not sure the novelty of going to away games holds up quite so well when they are all reasonably long journeys. Another big following at MK looks highly likely as long as it's on a Saturday.

Swindon would be ok too if they got up, only an hour from Paddington.
