Hey, I need some help; so over to you folk and Phil/Gav.....
I do voluntary work and have done for many years, mostly in the 'care' industry. I also volunteer at sports events, and was fortunate enough to be selected for the 2012 Olympics and the Euros held last year.
So imagine my excitement when I was selected as a ceremony maker at The Finalissima at Wembley last Wednesday in front of 87000!
During the Euros we were not allowed on the pitch at the same time as the players because of covid, but last Wednesday was different. I was on the pitch at the same time as both teams including of course Lionel Messi.
My question is 'Is there any ITFC player past or present, any ITFC representative or ex representative, or indeed any supporter, who can share this claim to fame with me?'.
I am sure there must be..thank you for your anticipated help!

Congrats! Been thinking of who might have played against him and the only one I can confirm that I've not seen mentioned is Simon Dawkins.

Argentina will be a threat at the World Cup I am sure....I am old enough to remember the wonderful tournament in 1978 with Kempes and co...in those days we often failed to qualify for major tournaments.

How on earth did you find that Phil - thank you. He is one of the last players I would have thought of. I do not belong to such an exclusive club as I thought I might!!!
