As it stands the Tories would be almost wiped off the political map - not through swings, percentages etc

But by the almost unanimous thought, voters want the bloated billshtter gone, and will vote for whoever it takes. There has been no single act, as with the resigned MPs, but a continuous level of incompetence; and failure, at every level. What was known by many before is now known by all.

The bloater is a weak and spineless character, who because of that has given into the swivelled eyed too many times. They have tasted blood, and will not go back into the strait jackets from whence they came.

Can the 'new broom', once the current menagerie of incompetents have been swept away, mend enough to save things for the Tories. The slug has fcked up so much that it will take months if not years to fix. While all the time being aware not only did they stand by and do nothing, but many were openly complicit in the failings.

And there is the no small matter of the various investigations into his corrupt activities and whether they can all be dumped at the slugs door or whether they will be seen as yet more Tory corruption.

We live in interesting times ... someone once said

I'm absolutely amazed he's not been given the boot already. Do the Tories actually believe that if BJ remains at the helm they can really win the next GE? That whole party really need to wake up, grow a pair and deal with him and fast. They are sinking faster than a stone in water, but I genuinely keep scratching my head wondering why they aren't doing anything about it and seem to be accepting their political fate?! Interesting times indeed.

Poll: Where are we going to finish?

Not at all upset but I can see what is glaringly obvious. People are voting against Johnson and not for Starmer or Labour. We are entirely back to a situation where the majority feel that nobody speaks for them.

Agree with this comment. Personally I don’t mind Starmer he’s bright, has integrity and did a good job of clearing out the bigots. That said, he needs to set out a vision for the country - I can see why he doesn’t really inspire people to get out and vote in numbers.
