My prediction:-
Tories will ramp up project fear about a Labour/SNP coalition and the Scottish tail wagging the English dog. That will frighten enough people to avoid a Tory massacre.
Lib Dems will have a good showing in south west and south east on the back of a pledge to rejoin the single market. From there a Labour-Lib Dem coalition will emerge.

'A week is a long time in politics' (H Wilson), but it is now 7 months that labour has held an 8-10 point lead.... and the last couple of weeks have seen that steadily rise.
'Who the gods wish to destroy they first make mad', and that is what seems to happening with the Tories. It is if the weasels, stoats and other sundry vermin have taken over Toad Hall, and with the demise of the head weasel they all imagine they are what the country needs.
Far from ditching the disastrous policies that have seen the country slide down the GDP table..... they are actually promising more. A clear sign none are fit to be anywhere near the levers of power.
Just a continuation of Johnsons chaos, with nothing other than vacuous slogans, and failed delusions - based not on any intent for the betterment of the country, but to merely to advance their place up the greasy pole.
Nothing from this ragbag of low grade politicians (and people) suggests they have either learned anything from the past few years, or have any wish to either. They are simply heading for the time the country wants rid of the lot.
Whether this means the figures as seen (above), is not known. But what is known is that the more this freak show continues on its own path of self destruction, the more likely the above will seem not only possible, but necessary. | | | |
