OK, we could still do with that striker, everyone knows that but 6 goals in 3 league matches is pretty decent.

Excellent performance today, but calling out the doubters after 3 games is little akin to lying back and enjoying your cigarette before your partner’s finished lighting the scented mood candles.. [Post edited 13 Aug 2022 22:24]

I think we all agree we could do with one. However, the goal return so far makes it less urgent. |
I think we could do with a striker, if budget and ffp allows.
Regardless, I’ve a really good feeling about this season. With the support, settled team plus a proper pre season, the more settled nature of the club infrastructure it feels for the first time in decades that we are truly moving forwards.

It's more certain posters who only have negative things to say. One of those is adamant he says lots of positive things too ... but I haven't read anything from him that is.
All I am asking is what they thought of today's performance. I am not asking for them to declare that they now believe we will win the league. | |

We could do with another Ladapo style striker, imo. Purely for strength in depth and competition .. But not because the current set up isn't working.
Anyone that's watched us under KM, will see that we don't focus on a striker getting the lions share of chances.
