I get that, but outside of Ipswich all people see is an underachievement. The playoffs were certainly a possibility.
Look at Cooper in the championship with Forest. They'd lost 6 of their first 8 but he came in and got them to the Premier League, with a lower quality squad relatively speaking at that level than we had at this level.
He is the sort of manager to get headhunted, not McKenna. |
