Did you really think the referee was that poor today - I thought a couple of strange decisions but that happens every week at this level - that is why they aren’t officiating further up the pyramid.

I thought he could have played advantage for us late in the second half and Wes Burns was clean through but blew his whistle too early.

I have to say the slamming of the referee today from SW fans and some Town fans is incredibly over the top.

I thought all 3 officials were poor mate
Its nothing out of the ordinary for this division,and Wednesday fans reaction was over the top, but i believe it actually helped wednesday and hindered Ipswich because the vitriol is usually aimed solely at the team.
Patience at Hillsborough is at a premium, it doesn't help, 20 years out of the top flight and dipping down here again, but it is what it is,you end up where you deserve to be

Fair enough - I’m not saying he was terrific, but I’ve seen worse displays at this level - probably a reflection of how long we’ve been in this division - seen a lot of poor refs.

Portman Road has been like that before, largely under the latter stages of McCarthy era, and certainly under Lambert.

Two clubs who have fallen down the pyramid, but I always say on here you are where you are because you deserve to be.

Hopefully this year we can see both our sides go up top 2.

i haven't got a problem with the crowd putting vocal pressure on, but sadly some idiots took it to lengths that are beyond the realms of that.
There was no excuse for stuff thrown on the pitch, but its the same idiots everytime it happens, and they are known to the authorities and they need to get a grip.
You had a lino who could see stewards lining the pitch, a vitriolic atmosphere, and then didn't have the bottle to raise his flag
I honestly didn't even think it offside, but i was looking from the Kop, on reflection seeing the angles etc...i dunno how he missed it
There were bad decisions for both teams, the officiating was poor, the match itself, two decent teams who will be up there
