It’s the height of bad manners.
I appreciate that people earn their corn by being famous and it goes with the territory but I don’t know why people think it’s acceptable.
I’ve never understood it. Alex Higgins bummed a fag off me once and I wanted to chew the fat with him as he was a bit of a hero for me at the time but I just couldn’t impose myself.
Even when I’ve been at hospitality events I’ve been shy of talking to the “Guest” as they done their rounds.
Frank Bruno pissed me off as I deliberately gave him space and then he chatted my wife up in front of me. I was a bit concerned he might get his Black and Decker out. |  |
