I seem to recall how, following our promotion, a journalist asked Stewart how he felt about the prospect of playing against the likes of Hasslebaink*, to which he replied:

"Have you asked how he feels about playing against me?"

Liked that about him, not about to be intimidated by the big shots of the Prem.

*Fairly sure it was Hasslebaink but happy to be corrected.
