Let’s hope Morsy’s lack of control hasn’t cost us. He can play on the edge without giving away yellows, as he has to for big chunks of games where he gets an early yellow. So why he keeps giving away stupid cards is beyond me. He didn’t need to take one for the team yesterday as there was plenty of cover.

If that’s the case, then good. Ball is an experienced Championship midfielder and Humphreys has the ability to be a very good player, but he needs the opportunity to prove it. I’d be more than happy to have both of them starting at Vale and I hope they play well too.
