Need to book a restaurant around Kings Cross/St Pancras and need the advice of a decent place to go, around 10 of us.

Wimpy/Mcdees/Nando's are all out unfortunately.

If you would like somewhere a bit better than normal but not as expensive as Barrafina, then The Harrison is very good. (An excellent BandB option, too, for anyone who needs to be close to King's Cross or Euston.)

I haven't been since Covid, so check recent reviews.

Cally is my brothers' neck of the woods. I used to like the Islignton bar (not there now - some kind of gaming bar, but was the absolute bollox at one point ages back)

The Thornhill Arms on Cally Road is ace

Google, St Martins and Guardian HQ will ensure that

I loved Kings X when I was there mid 80s - nobody fancies coming anywhere near it

Last time I had a night out in the Cross was late 90's in Bagleys.

Hearing that Google and the Guardian have pitched up, sounds like it been Gentrified...
