Does anybody have aquaintances like this? 00:05 - Nov 30 with 8514 views

Basically I offered a man I know a room for a week or so back in the summer when he got evicted and he's been here for a few months living rent free and taking the absolute pxss. It's making me so down but my biggest gripe is I just can't get a say on anything. He's so dominant in his manner of conversation that he just takes over with his louder voice. I have so much to say he won't let me bloody talk.

Typical example earlier, Pleasurewood Hills came up in conversation. I was going to tell him an anecdote about a mildly amusing story about when I went there as a kid and I started 'i went to Pleasurewood Hills when I was about 10...' and before I could continue he stopped me in my tracks, hijacked the conversation then proceeded to talk for ten minutes about the time HE went to Pleasurewood Hills and what HE done. It's sending me crazy and I just want peace, or at the very least someone to give me the courtesy of listening to what I have to say.

Have I made sense? Do any of you guys know people who do this or is it just me? They are the worst people. It's so rude and frustrating. Oh and one more thing. He has a mate who is exactly the same and is lacking just as much in conversation etiquette. When he comes round and the 2 of them are talking it's like listening to 2 dogs bark at each other

I've no doubt that you're genuine. It's just that I've never met another forty year old who calls their mobile a 'portable phone'.

Or a lottery winner who doesn't own a coat because he can't afford one - yet still goes sea fishing on a boat, at night, in November. Must have been chilly.

About 9 years ago I won 2 million on the lottery, a few weeks later I done a £2 accumulator and won 1 million.

On top of that my wife won 500k on a gameshow last year and on the same day I won 300k at Ascot from a 50p bet

I know some will think I'm lying but it's honestly the truth

It was fine thanks although my mate had a panic attack 4 miles off the coast of Felixstowe. To be honest it was the worst time of my life but hey ho I don't hate my friend for how he acted. Anyway it was pretty rubbish but thanks for asking
