The cognitive dissonance at a fundamental level does baffle me 23:25 - Dec 1 with 3241 viewsmonytowbray

It does all seem quite mad, doesn’t it. These protests are a product of a lack of action which is worrying, yet there is now a demand from chunks of the population that the protests only do things that can easily be ignored and we continue down a path with a lack of action.

I'm sorry. I didn't think your post deserved a serious response. Having an issue with universal suffrage because a horse died is an absolutely horrific take.

The horse survived actually. Not that she wanted it to. Hence choosing the kings horse.

I also do not have a problem with ‘Universal suffrage’. I’ve already acknowledged the cause was worthy. Very much so. I just think that method was a disgrace.

I see where this is going and the usual suspects have already got involved so I shall use my experience and walk away before it goes the way of a standard pile on.

Sadly I’m not at the game tonight as I’m working (World Cup means I’m unsurprisingly very busy with punters) but 3-0 win. Uppa Towen.

Poll: Would you take a draw tonight if offered right now?

I'm not sure that the horse only being injured makes your argument any stronger Rommy. But oh well. I'm oot!

Uppa Town indeed.

Horses die in racing as an accident though. The horses are loved, cared for etc.

Whereas she was quite happy to let the horse be killed in the name of protest. If animal abuse is acceptable as protest, where do we draw the line? We’ve got Callis refusing to pay for trains. Fair enough, it’s a protest. We’ve got people blocking cars on their way to hospitals, work etc. Fair enough, it’s a protest? We’ve got people trying to kill animals, fair enough, it’s a - actually no that is wrong.

That picture though. There's a difference between protesting and vandalism.
