I think we ( fans) can forget about him tbh. Even if available to buy, he doesn’t want to come here and only wants to return to Plymouth ( unless a championship club comes in for him of course). I’d rather we just walk away from him now snd get a defender and a different striker in.

But we could be absolutely nothing to do with the recall, given the suggestions that Phil is getting the club have made no enquiries about Whittaker. If we were really that involved I think a deal would be much further down the line and as it is the players desire to only be at Plymouth would put McK and Ashton off.

I think we are getting blamed here for something I am not sure we should be. The excitement from our fans is this weakens a rival.
