Bought one in the Autumn, as it was half price. Not set up yet, it's going onto a reenforced deck, but I need to dig out and put hardcore under it in the spring.

Has anyone got a thermal blanket for theirs? Any recommendations?

I’ve got one . It’s fab, especially at this time of year and WFH (we had coffee in there this morning!).

They’re obviously heavy - ours takes 1,0000 litres, so a tonne. I’ve no idea about decking, sorry. We have ours on slabs. We’ve an insulated hard lid on it and float bubble wrap on top of the water. It’s a rigid portable that uses polystyrene panels for insulation around the sides. Retains heat well.

Was sitting in one at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Marlow in a February a few years ago. There were people walking past with bobble hats, scarves and thick coats. It was bloody freezing getting to and from the tub. First and only time for me, brrr.

That’s the best bit. When we had snow before Christmas, I’d sit in the tub for a few mins then go and roll in the snow and then jump back in the tub. I was practically a Scandinavian.
