Any Skiers on here 16:29 - Jan 12 with 5872 viewsITFCson

I’ve just bought some ski boots. They are tight, and I know tight is the way to go. However I think they could be too tight. I’ve just looked up a ski boot size chart and I’ve bought Mondo 28.5 and on the chart this equates to 9.5. But I’m a 10.5/11. Any advice greatly appreciated as I’m off next week and don’t want to be in excessive pain whilst attempting to ski. Thanks

Bossbeard is off skiing at the moment for the very first time.

This is his only report.

In Lapland Finland skiing - very north, very cold. 9 euros for a beer, 17 euros for 3 reindeer tacos. That’s Rudolf dealt with!

Prices here are expensive but actually not a mile off somewhere like Breckinridge or Vail Colorado. On holiday so Mr Credit Card will just have to deal with it!

Where on earth is that?! Last year in Italy I was paying about 15 euro for a more than decent pasta dish and a soft drink, and that was on the mountain. To be fair, Italy did seem generally cheaper than France from my experience.

Feck knows where he is - but knowing him it will be the most expensive place on the planet.

Edit - Geneva apparently.

Ah, that explains it. Switzerland! Always been rather pricey.
