Does anyone know what's going on with regards to the charges against him in respect of betting offences?
I'm surprised that there hasn't been a hearing yet, especially as I'm sure Brentford will want to be able to bring in a replacement if he's subject to a lengthy ban. |  |

Based on previous hearings it seems that the hearing won't be held until the summer. The offences he is charged with could carry a lengthy ban and his legal team are entitled to a reasonable time to prepare a defence | | | |

Barton got 18 months for over 1,000 bets including some of his own matches.
Townsend got 4 months but I can’t see anything on how many bets were placed.
Toney is charged with about 250 I think, so depending on when the ban is effective from it wii don’t surprise me if he misses a chunk of next season. |  |
