We don't seem to want to use Edmundson.. Keough hasn't looked comfortable in any game he's played and Burgess is getting stick every week. So tbf you have a point.
Bit strong within the OP so perhaps that's why people have gone a bit angry.. but if People are disagreeing about not getting a new cb.. I find it quite surprising as we don't seem to have a CB that the majority on here are happy with and who's available. |

the fact is that in 2022, ipswich let in less goals than pretty much anyone (36 cf sheff weds 42, cf plymouth 48), that was done with a defensive line-up including woolf/burgess/edmundson/donacien.
that suggests that the temporary problems with mistakes are unlikely to be terminal, though edmundson's niggles haven't helped
we have an excellent defensive line-up for league one and we've further enhanced it with the addition of clarke. bleating on petulantly about wanting more new toys as bob is, is pretty ridiculous! | |

Burgess I like as he really helps us in the air. But he's been shown up terribly when people run at him
Edmundson... in out in out.. what is actually going on there
And keogh.. well he's just never looked good enough which has been strange considering he was playing league above with ease.
No it's not problematic in the volume of goals conceded but it just seems to every week struggle. Is a new RB going to suddenly change it? That's my only concern

utter nonsense, clarke coming in means keogh is no longer our first cover, the defence is already improved on a unit which was the best in the league in 2022.
keogh'll fall further back in the pecking order when edmundson's back. stop throwing your toys out of the pram just because of a few short-term problems!
