Our defensive options are very good.
Whilst fragile lately, it has also shown how solid it can be (strong clean sheet return last year particularly) - we opened the season with 5 clean sheets in the first 8!
Donacien, Woolfenden, Burgess, Edmundson, Keogh, & Clarke.

that's quite disparaging though. We don't just play tippy tappy at all (EDIT: and I would not describe our football as tippy tappy). We do encourage playing out from the back but Evans Woolfy quite often hit the wide men with a long diagonal.

We don't seem to want to use Edmundson.. Keough hasn't looked comfortable in any game he's played and Burgess is getting stick every week. So tbf you have a point.
Bit strong within the OP so perhaps that's why people have gone a bit angry.. but if People are disagreeing about not getting a new cb.. I find it quite surprising as we don't seem to have a CB that the majority on here are happy with and who's available. |  |
