Firstly it's a good signing to see out the season.

But it's not honestly one where I think this makes them substantially stronger. Guy coming to end of career and not played much replacing their best CB. The net result is a weakening.

If he gets them over the line the won't care but they are really needing to get up this season. They are not a young team and they don't seem to be building a squad and identity for moving forward. As I say I think they are prioritizing a just get up and out of this league and doing a decent job of that for sure.

Give me the progressive forward thinking signing direction and the style/identity we are developing though every time. Leif D, Harry C, Nathan B, Hirst with a view to perm etc I'm really liking.

...or he's just there Luongo...(but I doubt he is just cover for them).
