Normally you'd want the underdogs to win.... 16:16 - Jan 29 with 2948 viewsBloots

....you'd definitely normally want a non league team to beat a league team.

And you'd definitely, definitely want Sheffield Utd to lose.

But is it wrong to want Wrexham to get stuffed this afternoon?

Nah, come on The Blades.

Why? Sheffield Inited early the right to have a replay rather than a penalty lottery. All for replays - there have been some great ones over the years.

In my head, over the course of two legs it really erodes away at an advantage a smaller team would have. Whether that be catching the better team on a bad day, or the advantage of surprising them etc., when they have to play twice it's quite likely the better team prevails because there, generally, feels like a much smaller margin for that shock to happen.

Might be in the minority on this, and fair enough if i am.

I agree with you in regards to replays. I’d ditch them as well as first leg and second legged ties in the league cup. One off matches, thirty mins of added time. I Doyle then have ten mins further of ‘golden goal’ time and then penalties.
