Wednesday cheated 4 points from us this season 22:13 - Feb 11 with 6313 views | RIPbobby | The first game when they consistently threw objects at our keeper and linesman. Hence the late offside goal was not given as lino was afraid for his life. What did the EFL do nothing. Today's match at 0-0 big Johnson elbows burns, lino sees it but can't pinpoint the culprit. Penalty, but no red. So what have we learnt from them? We play fair and they cheat better. I'm surprised they didn't try and play with 12 or 13 players. Lol So in the EFL cheats prosper.

I do think were just physically stronger at times.. on 22:01 - Feb 13 by Mullet | I think, I'm not the one hanging around on a rivals forum trying to pick imaginary fights like an oddball. Burgess being physically capable and willing to put his body on the line is nowhere near elbowing people in the face repeatedly. You're coming off very badly here when you have mugged us for 4 points and used it to leapfrog us. The idea you're not a tarted up Rotherham isn't exactly controversial is it? |
thanks for clearing that up , just BItter

Wednesday cheated 4 points from us this season on 09:25 - Feb 12 by Mullet | The game up theirs was particularly galling, given we were the better side and it wasn't a difficult decision to make. The lack of action towards them and Burton for throwing stuff is also frustrating. But we missed a penalty to go 1-0 up yesterday. |
Ipswich fans, understandably, point to stats on possession, passes etc to back up the 'best footballing team in the division' narrative. On that basis, have a look at the stats from the game at Hillsborough. You were, on that day, a pretty direct team, often bypassing midfield and using balls over the top to Jackson's pace. It was, on the day, a masterstroke by McKenna, and caught us out & unsettled us. We were a better footballing team LAST year, but look where that got us! Moore toughened us up this year with the addition of bigger, more physical players to play a style more suited to L1, and, so far, it is working. Be interesting to see if you can 'pure football' your way out of this division. I hope you can, as it would make a refreshing change and I'm sure you'd do well in the Championship. Only time will tell, but I wish you luck as long as it's not at our expense!

I agree, but I couldn't give a toss about style at the expense of promotion. Win first, showboat later is always my mentality and it was intoxicating how we started the season. As you're my favourite away day I'd love to see you finish second and Plymouth drop away but that ship has probably sailed. We have had terrible luck in a handful of games but also just as many where we've needed the odd tactical viagra and been left wanting. That's not necessarily McKenna's fault always, but it is frustrating to see us lose out from the position we were in both in the league and either games against you and Argyle too.
