Yes, I've driven across two of those, they are very empty. However, that's not the same as no people at all.
Maybe nobody actually told Trump, in case he started WWIII?
Or, more likely, they only detected the overflights after they'd happened (a balloon at 100,000ft does not show up as well as you might think, either on radar or visually). | |
