Well, the Woolf has had 2 or 3 awful games on the trot and yet still gets the nod in the central CB spot, Aluko and Harness starting ahead of Chaplin and Broadhead is very dubious IMO, we’re swapping goals up top for people who haven’t got many goals, plus who is going to take penalties and free kicks?
Aluko has a great eye for playing people through behind the defence, but he has Ladapo playing who is a hold up man so who’s on the end of a defence splitting ball?
Let’s see what happens, but looks a completely unbalanced team to me up top, but Rovers are woeful so let’s see how it goes. |
That first half sums up perfectly what I worried about with the selection, totally disjointed up front, don't look like scoring, or even threatening to score, very poor indeed.
Manager has made a baffling choice of starting XI again and it hasn't worked again, against another team in terrible recent form. Even the commentators said that this is the most comfortable Rovers have looked for weeks and that's not cos they're playing better, there's just zero threat from us. |  |
