Won't have another game as easy as that. FG absolutely woeful. But did what we had to do and that's all you want to see.

Roll on next week.

P.s. Jackson for Burns please.

That’s what people were saying about Morecambe. There are plenty of poor teams down that end of the table to play.

If these games can be used to build our confidence then great. Because we must remember, we’ll not face teams this poor in the PO.

The 3 games Vs barnsley Bolton and derby are key, because it’ll give us an indication of how ready we are to face them in the PO games

We’ll be good again... one day

You are plucking random people from the sky to play up front in a new system when we have two strikers made for L1, one in goal scoring form, and the players you speak of are both scoring with starting positions down the pitch? Why choose the day we win 4 nil to come up with this?

Look at our average game positions, we did play with 2 up front but it was Burns higher up, and despite managing to score two goals Chaplin looked to be playing deeper allowing difficult run to track into the penalty box.

There is plenty of variation in player positions in our system in-game without being preoccupied by standard off shelf starting formations. What we miss at times is the variation in what we do with the ball in my view.

Versus FGR we did everything we needed to do and it was different to more recent games where teams have blocked us off.

I don't understand most of the first paragraph, people from the sky? In answer to the question, I have said I'd like to see Chaplin and Broadhead playing further forward for ages and most recently I posted a squad I'd like to see (if everybody in squad fit) about a week ago with them in those positions up top. IMO they've always looked more threatening when they have had the opportunity to play off the defenders shoulders, rather than in a pocket behind the lone striker, something they were able to do against FGR, because FGR were so bad, would it work against the top sides? I don't see why not.
