Wonderful news re new legislation to keep out the asylum seekers* 15:56 - Mar 8 with 2197 viewsThisIsMyUsername

It would be even better if we can also forget the ECHR.

* (If your name is Nigel Farage).

Current gov trying to do as much as they can in the time they have left.

This must really further hurt the perception of the UK on a global level.

Truly marketing ourselves as a Bastion of openness and tolerance. What a time to live in and be from the UK.

Could a new gov reverse these types of laws?

This suggests that unionists are applying for Irish passports.

And interesting to see this advice from Ian Paisley shortly after the Brexit vote.

Entirely unsurprising given that the whole thing was largely about avoiding tax for most of the big players in the vote.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Why would anybody want to rejoin project Globalism to support the demands of multinationals when its fragilities have been so readily exposed in recent years?

Wow, so since Brexit the UK is no longer part of project globalism and no longer supports the demands of multinationals? Hats off to Boris and Rishi

Of course Britain was never part of globalism.... apart from when it traded spices from the far east, sugar from the west indies, minerals from south africa, timber from Canada etc...

... when rightie buzzwords meet reality

And talking of reality

"because of the great relationship with the French and the Eurodac database, which we’ve lost access to in Brexit,” ]/i]
Amber Rudd, former Home Secretary

"Emmanuel Macron is expected to reject Rishi Sunak’s request to return small boat asylum seekers to France at a key meeting in Paris, after the UK disregarded his call to establish more safe and legal routes."

Brexiters are now running the only pub in the town that is not a member of pubwatch, they recently left. A scheme whereby all pubs were warned when there was trouble/a troublemaker in one of the other pubs. The Brexiters claimed they did not want to be controlled by other pubs !

This current problem is caused by the UK leaving the mechanism that provided for the return of unsuccessful asylum claimants. Rather like the brexit pub believing that once they left pubwatch they would be spared any trouble.

Adding to the problem is the dire shortage of staff to process the claims. If you cannot staff a restaurant then it is doubtful you could provide enough trained immigration staff.

Of course, you could always recruit from abroad, but the irony meter there might explode

So by leaving the EU there is nowhere for migrants to be returned to, and there are not enough staff even to sort out who can stay, and who not.

Forgive me, if I now hold my sides to stop them splitting as I laugh at the sheer stupidity of Brexiters.
