Half the team were genuine candidates for MOTM today.
Walton for the penalty save and two other big stops, Hirst for the goal and excellent hold up play, Woolf for not putting a foot wrong at the back, Burgess for the goal and intelligent defending against a quick opposition forward, Morsy and Luongo for bossing the midfield.
Ultimately it didn’t matter but that Luongo turn was worth the entrance fee by itself, such a shame the ref gave a goal kick because it wasn’t even close to going out of play. |  |
