I am just amazed at how poor the quality of officiating is in this league. In the Championship, you might get two or three games in a whole season where the officials cause some real controversy and you rightly feel robbed. In this league, it's like 43 games of crap officials and maybe 2 or 3 with competent staff. | |

I am just amazed at how poor the quality of officiating is in this league. In the Championship, you might get two or three games in a whole season where the officials cause some real controversy and you rightly feel robbed. In this league, it's like 43 games of crap officials and maybe 2 or 3 with competent staff. |
And on this basis, we have to avoid the playoffs. There's too much at stake for these clowns to manage. | |

Absolutely no foul throw for the goal for me.
Common misunderstanding about throws is that the feet must be behind the line. In fact, both feet can be on the pitch almost entirely with just the heels touching the line and it'd be fine.
Foul throw that was given as such was a correct call.
However, there were defo more than a couple of baffling decisions yet again. | | | |

Before you get carried away with the idea that there is a sort of referreeing nirvana in The Championship I think it only fair to remind you that Keith Stroud is still officiating at that level and still dropping clangers. | |
