Am I reading this wrong but the champ squad rule is 25 squad (not including u21s). However the worrying part is 8 of that 25 have to be homegrown (meaning spent 3 years with us between ages 15-21.
Don't we only have Clarke and Woolfy who fit the bill? Idris would as well. (Not including Humphreys as he doesn't need to be in the 25 men as he is u21s).
We will have to seriously trim the squad as only 17 non homegrown in a squad.
Does look like Idris may well get a shot by virtue of this. Others will have to go.

33.9 ‘Home Grown Player’ shall mean a Player who irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with:-

33.9.2 a Club and/or any other football club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales, for a period, continuous or not of three Seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the Season during which he turns 21) | |

Ah ok so that's a lot more straightforward so the 8 players part is easily covered. Basically anyone trained at British clubs as a youth. | |
