A bit sad on here tonight 20:52 - May 12 with 7327 views | gtsb1966 | A team who gets 96 points, 10 more than the team in 4th place and who have no bad history with us at all, yet some are taking great pleasure in them losing. Grow up ffs. [Post edited 12 May 2023 20:52]

A bit sad on here tonight on 08:07 - May 13 by Dubtractor | This OP is mad - genuinely can't get my head around it. There has been a rumbling rivalry between us and SW all season. - the behaviour of their fans at Hillsborough - The miles offside goal - Michael Smith giving it the big un in front of the North Stand when scoring - The Burns elbow incident and their fans crying about it for weeks afterwards - The fact that they are just a pound shop Rotherham that tried to bully their way through games - the ongoing arrogance of a large section of their support (won the league in Feb etc) - Crying about the ref change game Now, none of those things have particularly upset me personally and you won't find too much crying from me on here at the time of those events, but bloody hell it does allow for a bit of a chuckle when we then see them bottling it when it comes to the crunch. And I bet they would be doing the same if the boot was on the other foot. |
They spent Jan-March laughing their heads off at us. ‘Bottlers, relegation form, don’t know how we are still in the play offs, they are done’. Even a Derby fan joined in - they loved it. As the other thread shows, they were combing through our team for additions in the Championship next year. Add in Smith’s antics and watching them being flushed away round the u bend last night was one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time.
A bit sad on here tonight on 13:36 - May 14 with 359 views | lizzibee | Bet you're a laugh a minute at a party! I'm loving the constant reminders to Wednesday that they won the league in February. Their toxic fans throwing missiles, their racist thug of a fan, elbow to Burns then all moaning when their player was rightfully suspended. On top of that they're arrogance and self belief that because they are so massive they should be in the Championship. And it isn't just our fans with this view - it's shared by the other top teams. But I will miss Owlstalk next season - that's been an absolute joy! And just reading it today some are already saying the'll be champions next year. It really is the gift that keeps on giving. Now, to go and phone Lisa to book some seats on a coach, with a pick up in Peterborough.
