He's low-key done a really decent job getting Wolves away from the bottom of the table since he joined in November.

I think if they lose him they could massively struggle next season.

Neves finally looks like he's outgrown them too and Moutinho looks like he might be off (although he wasn't playing much, his experience would have been invaluable). I still can't believe how little Moutinho cost Wolves!

Interesting summer ahead for them.

It is very interesting what has happened at Wolves as I believe the ambition of owners is to rub shoulders with the European giants. Yet they do seem in a weird cycle of hiring great fixers but never quite finding the right fit for stability.

The ambition of the owners has been hugely stunted by a collapsed Chinese economy. I believe they are owned by Fosun, who are tens of billions in debt. It's a matter of when not if they fall into the Champ.

If Spurs actually wanted to build a good team and have gradual improvement over a few seasons, then Lopetegui would be a good choice. They won't though and will continue to Spurs it up.
