2 days ago he posted a clip video saying negotiations for a striker have stalled. Someone replied saying Hirst is close to signing (it was all over Twitter) to which he replied 'I hope you're right'.

He then does a clip saying Hirst is close (again, was all over Twitter).

Maybe the videos aren't his finest hour, but I quite like Frank, including his appearances on Radio Suffolk.

Presumably, the easiest thing for him would have been to be a Liverpool or Everton fan (depending on his family's leanings), but he chose Ipswich and I think he has been a fan for forty or fifty years.

EDIT: According to this it was Everton, and it's well over 50 years.
