The top one there, I wore recently, when going to Brighten The Corners festival a few weeks ago, and I was quite surprised the number of comments I got saying "Nice shirt!". |
Interesting in that when we had the Greene King shirts we were much bigger than them.. they were still more or less just a county brewer. Since then they’ve been acquired by Li Ka Shing’s CK group who’ve transformed them into a national brand and I can now buy GK here in Thailand. (Come on Adnams - pull yer finger out!). Whereas we had years of decline. Now we’re on the up again and Town and BSE based GK could be a natural fit for a shirt deal after Ed is done….. (pun intended) |  | |  |

I’m pretty sure that they do own the design/patent, anything along those lines would be fantastic!
Either that or it would be amazing if Umbro/Ipswich did something similar to the current Adidas/Arsenal & Man U classic retro re-releases.
I thought that the Ipswich COPA retro Umbro homage versions were neat but missing that finishing sparkle.
While they’re at it lol - if they could please bring back the iconic LONG SLEEVE shirts, they look much better in my opinion compared to the current trend of wearing a skin tight base layer under the shirts

Surely we'll keep the black kit for another season, as Ed apparently helped in the design process. Not that anyone will clash with the orange kit anyway. |
I believe it's in our umbro contract that we will take 3 new shirts per season. This would mean no carry over of previous kits like we did a few years ago with the addidas "Barcelona" kit that was active for 2 years. Whatever it is will not see many match minutes. | | | |
