Its only a friendly of course and not much can be read into the result (although they are a club that did the double over Norwich last season) but I think when we’re at full strength we’re a very well polished side, apparently even against better opposition. Good sub options in attacking areas too, lots of legs, pace and trickery.
I still think there’s a few hangers on; Evans, Elkan, Jackson could all move on in some capacity for me. Upgrade them with 3 quality additions and we’ll be a reet handful. |  | | |  |

Edmundson is a worry for me. He’s probably not fully fit still (and he can’t seem to be able to) but he just looks so stiff. We are already a CB light and expect a left footer will come in but I still wonder if there will be another in/out in that position.

Agreed on Edmundson, definitely could do with Trusty. Also need to replace Ledapo and Evans, both not up to the standards we need, the fact neither have gone yet no doubt means we're waiting for our targets to become available. |  | | |

Are we going to upgrade fringe players though? Every fringe player you replace is going to cost you FFP £ allowances that could be better used on first team places.
I think we look to replace the first team players with better if we want to progress and then these players naturally get shuffled down the order/sold over time. | | | |
