It's been exactly what I thought it would be.
Town getting to grips with the change in tempo from friendlies and leagues.
We showed as the game went on that we started to get a grip.
We won't control games like last season. But we need to dig deep and cause problems which we have and we're winning. |  |

To be fair Sunderland came out of the traps fast and just hassled us off the ball. We just haven’t played a side who are that sharp. We will get used to this over the next few weeks.
