I think the issue was so many changes. None of them looked like they had played together much. Once the regular players came on, Evans, Jackson, Ball, Baggot all looked much better. I think it is easy to read too much into that performance. Slicker played well too.
Ladapo did not look right at all, though. Nor did he on Sunday. He wasn't making the decisions he did last season. He did look better as the game progressed and took a sharp chance to shoot just before he went off. |  |
