Yeah lets hope he's tearing it up and Oxford are 2nd in the league or something. Make them give us some cash to keep him for the rest of the season, or sell him to the highest bidder.

Yeah it's good forward planning. Playing him in the cup would've meant once he's played for Oxford, he's stuck with the 2 club rule. The way it's set we can (should we so wish) call him back in January and flog him.

Possibility I guess, albeit unlikely. Pretty rare that mid-career English players go abroad from League 1. Maybe he'll be off to Saudi for the $$$.
